My Handy Man

Last Saturday, and the following Monday, Clint and I were out at the house and wiring it for surround sound. When we were there Saturday, we thought the electrical work was done, but it wasn't. Needless to say, it made it kind of difficult to wire because we didn't know where to create the paths. So we did a little bit and decided to come back later when it was completely wired.

When we went back the following Monday, the wiring was completely finished and it was a lot easier to wire for surround sound because there were more holes drilled and we could see what paths were suitable. It was fun. But glad its over. It's coming along quite nicely.

Clint's dad was really nice to help us and let us use his ladder, and wire cutters and all that jazz.

So I also decided that I have quite the "handy Man". I've always wanted to marry a handy man and now I've seen that characteristic in action. He researched and asked people how to wire for surround sound and was able to do it himself. What a great guy!

They also shingled our roof and put that waterproof stuff over our house. Next Step is inspections and then sheetrocking and siding.

  1. Your house is popping up like a tent. (Nothing dirty intended.) What a relief, huh? The house looks great.
