So basically this is a catch up about Jonas. But first, Clint and I are doing well. Just school for both Clint and I and we both have senioritis really bad. Clint is close to being done with college, which means he'll find a job, and I'm close to being done teaching. I can't wait to be done and be with my little boy! But until then......
My mom comes on wednesdays to watch Jonas during the day while Clint goes to his class in the morning. And, as Clint likes to put it, Wednesdays are basically full photo shoot days, where my mom takes tons and tons of pictures. Which is good because I'm not there to take the pictures, and Clint forgets to take pictures, so now I have tons of cute pictures of Jonas. That's where I got all these pics from. Thanks mom!
Plus, my mom has this way awesome cool camera that she got for Christmas, so her pictures are crisp and clear and professional, whereas my camera just does the basics. So jealous of her camera!
Another thing that Jonas loves is his blanket. It's so cute! My grandma Dean gave me this blanket at my baby shower, and it is Jonas's favorite. It's soft and cuddly, and he sleeps so much better with it. When he's playing, he'll occasionally play with his toys and then crawl back to his blanket and rub his face all over it, then he'll go back to playing. And when you put it over his face, he'll laugh and giggle and then I'll take it off and say "boo" and he'll laugh some more. And he even tries to put it back over his head to do it again. What a sweetheart!
He also learned how to crawl, as my previous post said, and he loves getting into things. So there is a pic of him getting into the movies, smacking our blinds around, getting into the diapers, and he also likes to have all his toys spilled everywhere so he can be right in the midst of all of them. So funny! And just recently he wanted to help me with the laundry, so of course I had to get a picture!
This last week, we gave Jonas his first lollipop and he loved it. He got slobber everywhere, of course, but he liked it a lot. We took it away after a few licks.
And now the last thing Jonas has been doing. He's been such a brave little soul and walking everywhere! He'll crawl to the couch, bed or entertainment center and then he'll turn around and start to walk. He takes these steady, cautious steps very slowly and he'll just walk everywhere. Normally he had to have either Clint or myself in front of him and then he'd walk to us, but now he just walks to nowhere in particular. It's so cute! He's walked the entire length of our hallway and he's walked from our couch into our kitchen. It's so fun. I bet within the next 2 weeks he'll be walking everywhere instead of partly crawling and partly walking. What a cutie! So below are pictures of him progressing his walk. The last are of him standing, because he likes to take a few steps, and then stand and smile or whatever, and then he takes a few more, then stands, and then continues that patter. Like I said, he's a cautious walker.
Holy Cow! Look how grown up he is! Can't believe it.
