Seven Peaks

We went to seven peaks a couple weekends ago.  Mind you, this was at the end of the week when Jonas had his fevers and his rash.  So Jonas had his rash when we were at seven peaks.  Don't worry, it wasn't contagious, or infectious.  Needless to say, Jonas was SUPER tired and worn out from his cold, that he didn't seem too excited about swimming.  Usually he LOVES  the water!  But that Friday, not so much.  Oh well.  I still think he had fun.

Dad and Jonas playing pat-a-cake

Hanging out with my cutey boy, but he'd rather be down walking around

Because Jonas was so tired from being sick, this is what he mainly did when he was in the water.  That is my dad with him.  He was so tired, the water put him right to sleep.  He hardly even splashed when he was awake.

For those of you thinking you want to go to seven peaks, don't.  I decided that I hate Seven Peaks.  When we went, there were so many people there, it was hard to have any fun because no matter where you were, in the water or walking, people would just bump into you cuz it was so packed! Until......lightening came.  They closed down the pools for about an hour to and hour and a half, and about 3/4ths of the people left.  No joke!  Then they opened up the pools again. It was so awesome!  After that, Seven Peaks was amazing!  Clint and I walked onto every slide, practically.  We maybe had to wait....4 minutes to get on a slide, and that was only a couple times.  It was SO nice!

However, the one thing that I don't like about Seven Peaks is they recently changed their rules so no outside food, or drink, can come inside.  Which means you have to buy their food and drink.  They will let you bring in one sealed water bottle per person, which we did, but the sun made it extremely hot.  I guess we could have tried to bring in a cooler with our water bottles.  I don't think they would even allow coolers, I don't remember.  But the entire time, because Jonas was getting over being sick, he was dehydrated, so I had to keep buying Powerade, which was $3.00 every time!  And their food, for a six inch pizza, costs $7.49.  I think Seven Peaks just wants to make money.  I think that rule of no outside food and drink is awful!  The whole time I kept worrying about Jonas because he was so lifeless, and he wouldn't eat much because of the heat.  Awful rules.  Plus I worry alot about my boy, so that, along with the rule, didn't help.

But we did have fun, regardless of the stupid rule.  But I will never go there again.  There's other water parks that are just as fun, that will let you bring in outside food and drink and coolers.

  1. ha ha, that picture of him sleeping in the tube is awesome.

What a fun place to play in the water...despite the cost. We were actually just there last weekend.
