First, Jonas wakes up around 7ish (or 6:45 today..grrr...), and he watches 3 episodes of Curious George on Netflix. Three because during the first episode, I exercise on our exercise bike, then the second episode I do yoga and lift weights and we watch together, and the third episode I shower while he eats a piece of toast. Every morning is like that, it's nice to exercise. It starts my day off right, plus I read the Ensign while I exercise and again, a great way to start the day.
Next, we turn off the TV and do something. He first ran around from one end of the house to the other. Then Jonas wanted to color. We did that for a bit.
He's so cute!

It was around 9:00 when we ate breakfast, or second breakfast for Jonas.
After that, I get Jonas dressed, and we play, and he usually has a tantrum sometime after this. He wanted the fridge open, but I told him no, so he threw a mini tantrum. I can be guaranteed at least one tantrum a day, if not more. Oh the joys of being 2, which he'll be on Easter Sunday. Then after each tantrum, he wants me to hold him and play on my lap.
Actually, I was wondering if he was teething, and I looked in his mouth today, and one of his two year old molars is all the way in! I had no idea! But he has been slobbering more lately, and everything is drama, so I guess those were the indicators.
So that's what we did next. I held him on the couch and we played "hide from the bad guys", where we hide under his blanket from the bad guys. He gets a kick out of this and can do it for a good 20 min.
Then we chase each other, I usually tidy and he helps me, or makes a game out of it, play with toys, or do whatever Jonas wants. We do whatever until 10:30 or so when I can tell Jonas is getting bored.

Around that 10:30 or 11:00 we turn on a movie. He chose "Punsel" today (that would be Rapunzel, aka "Tangled") He loves that show. He chooses that show almost every single day, give or take. It used to be that Megamind was his favorite, now its Tangled.
During the movie, I use that time to do dishes, Dear Elder my sister on her mission, or update my blog, or whatever. Sometimes I'll watch the movie with him, but after seeing it 10 times, I'd rather do something that needs to get done.
Then we ate lunch after the movie. He had to stand on a chair today. He did not want to sit in his little high chair. Whatever. A hot dog and peas.
And he also had to make faces at me too during lunch. He's so cute! Believe it or not, this picture was still taken when he was standing on the chair, but the background was so dark, that when I converted it to B&W, the background just disappeared, so it left a cool image. I like it!
The bad part, however, about Jonas not sitting in his high chair, is that he can get down himself and he gets distracted more easily, so he didn't eat all his peas because he was distracted by outside. So we went outside.
He wanted me to push him in his stroller, and this is what happened! yay! It was a little after 1, which he normally takes a nap around 2, but I guess just sitting in one place without moving made him realize he was tired sooner.
I laid him in his bed, and then I put the pictures in the computer and edited them and updated the blog while he was asleep.

When Jonas woke up, he was a little cranky. He always is groggy when he wakes up.
So I let him watch one episode of George to wake up. It always helps.

I didn't feel like making dinner today, so Clint made dinner, and Jonas helped out.
While the German Pancakes were cooking, we played a "bad guy" game with Jonas. What is up with all this bad guy stuff? It's Clint's fault, superheroes vs. the bad guys. So I was the bad guy coming to get them *boom boom boom* and get pictures, while Jonas hid with dad. Cute.
German pancakes, a nice easy dinner.
Then we had family home home evening. We just played "games" with Jonas. Meaning, we got out a game and talked about colors, and he played with the pieces while we helped and talked to each other.
Not the best picture, I'm still trying to get good at using my tripod. Atleast Clint is in focus. Ha! I should have made my aperture higher so more of the pic was in focus.
Then, we watched a little mormon channel video for our lesson. Short and sweet, just the way Jonas likes it.
Then we played for a bit, watched a bit of Tarzan for part of our FHE (we normally don't watch movies at night with Jonas because I want him to get worn out so he can sleep at night) and Jonas went to bed.
So there you have it, a typical day for the Stoker's. It was a lot of pictures to take, but it's good practice, and it was something different to do.
