Jonas was being so cute playing on my Kindle today. I have a bunch of kid apps that I downloaded forever ago. You know, when Jonas was too young to even touch a Kindle. And I thought, one of these days I'll be glad I downloaded this free app of the day. Well, today was that day.
I specifically remember downloading this app called "ABC" something or other, and thinking it would be great for kids to learn their letters. Because you trace the letters and it talks to you, etc. Well, today, Jonas actually played it, and he kind of traced the letters.
Basically, he would touch the stars, but in a vertical fashion. He had a hard time with the diagonals, or curvy type lines. But when they were straight, or horizontal, he could do it! After he would finish, it would repeat the letter and show & say a picture of an animal or object that started with that letter, and then Jonas would repeat the animal/object when it was done. It was so cute! The teacher in me was beaming!
By the way, my sickness came back almost full throttle last night at 10:30, and lasted all night and all day today, and it was awful! I have never been so sick in my life!
I remember when you were going to college to become a teacher and we talked about how your education was going to be a great asset when you become a mother!! That day is here!! I love it!!
