Day 71 - Rainbow

All this lovely rain caused us to have a lovely rainbow here in SLC. It was beautiful! I went to pick up Clint from the church, and the rainbow was so vivid. I seriously haven't seen  rainbow in a long time, at least it feels that way. I really don't remember the last time I saw a rainbow. Jonas was in awe by it too. It was his first rainbow that he has seen. It was just cool. So of course I had to get a picture. It makes a better picture than what I had previously planned on (Jonas eating a hot dog bun, plain, and dipping it in ketchup. I just thought it was funny.)

So we hurried and drove home (a 2 minute or less drive) and I grabbed my camera, ran past the trucks to get a picture of it. And this is all that was left of the rainbow.

Man, that rainbow came and left quickly. Seriously though, 2 minutes before you could see it across the whole sky, and then I barely caught the end of it, and then it was gone. Crazy quick! Oh well.

It's not the best picture. Because the clouds are dark, I was having a hard time properly exposing it, so my shutterspeed in this pic. is a little slow, and therefore it's a little blurry because of camera shake. But by the time I took the next picture (properly exposed with a quicker shutterspeed) more of the rainbow had gone, so I chose this one over the other because the colors were more pretty because you could see more of them.
