Day 105 - 15 Weeks

I feel like my stomach is getting more round, and leaving the fat stage. I hate the fat stage. I also had a little scare the past couple of weeks. The two boys that I watch had 5ths disease. Basically, it's caused by a virus and has something to do with the red blood cells in the body. You are contagious a week before you even know you have it. Then the week after you get a rash that starts on your cheeks and spreads to your arms and legs and looks like lace. Anyways, it's bad for pregnant people because it could cause anemia in the baby, and that's not good, which could result in miscarriage in some instances. I was really worried. I had to go in and get my blood drawn to see if I was immune to it. Fifty percent of women are immune, and fifty percent aren't. If you aren't immune, then that's when you should be concerned about it affecting the baby. Well, I got my results back this week and I was immune. Thank goodness! I must have been exposed or had it when I was little. I was so relieved. So anyways, I'm doing good, baby's heartbeat is strong, and I was able to schedule the ultrasound appointment to found out what the gender is in 4 weeks. Super excited!
