Day 80 - Just some quick snatches

I don't know about other people, but I also get extremely tired when I'm pregnant. At the beginning, I would be watching Jonas play, and I would literally fall asleep. Or I would read him a book, and fall asleep in the middle because I'm so fatigued. Technically those "fatigued days" that come at the beginning are supposed to be over, and they are. But now I'm tired because I don't sleep well at night. I have developed a cold, and coughing keeps me up a lot of the night, and I get charlie horses in my hip muscles when I'm pregnant from sleeping on my side. Not fun. So now I'm tired because I don't sleep well. And I swear, my "morning sickness" or just plain "nausea" (not feeling good) is all based on if I get a good nights sleep or not. If I don't get a good sleep, I feel gross the next day and don't have energy or motivation. Hence today. I didn't feel like taking pictures, so as Jonas was playing outside this evening, I was sitting on a chair and just snapping pictures of him. I didn't try to get different angles, or bother moving distractions out of the way, or be artsy or whatever. I just got a pic. So here you go. Enjoy!

We got this scooter from our neighbors, who upgraded to 2-wheel scooters that were way cooler. So they gave us this one, and Jonas has been very interested in learning how to ride it. And he can. He puts one foot down and pushes himself (very very small pushes). It's just very slow moving, which is probably good. But he loves it.

  1. These scooters are so much fun for kids! Wish we could afford one for our little boy. Enjoy.

BTW: otter pops are a great way to get popsicles too....super cheap but kids do have to learn how to keep pushing the ice up.

  2. So cute! He is getting so big and he's such a cutie! This is the age when they are so funny. So busy learning new things everyday they grow right in front of your eyes.
