Day 112 - TV's scary

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Stoker's house today, like we normally do on a Sunday. Totally forgot to bring my camera, oh well. But I still got a pic. Sundays are kind of hard, because I'm not bringing my camera to church (weird) and sometimes it's a pain to bring it to Clint's parents because there are so many kids and stuff everywhere I don't want it to get dirty or touched. But whatever.

America's got Talent was on, and they were showing small clips of people who got 3 "X's", if you've seen the show. If they get 3 "X's" then that basically means they've got no talent, or they're awful. In this particular clip, they had a bunch of people pretending to be wrestlers, with the crazy masks and dressed in a diaper type thing and nothing else, and it was just weird. Awful. Well, Jonas was watching it, and he must have realized that their faces were not normal looking. Some of the masks they were wearing are the masks that kind of remind me of Darth Maul on Star wars. You know, the red and black type lines and stuff. Well, Jonas freaked out! I have never seen him so scared before. He clung on to me and started bawling and said he wanted to go home. I took him outside and he kept saying "da TV's scary". Poor kid. When I started going back inside, he did NOT want to go back. He kept crying and would not let go of me. He had his little arms wrapped around my neck and would not release them. I felt so bad. So we quickly said our goodbyes and took him home. The whole way he kept saying "da TV's scary". I hope he'll want to go back. He seems to have a good memory of things that are scary and does not want to be around those things after the fact.

We came home and let him watch Curious George so he could get some happy, fun thoughts in his mind before he went to bed. He had to have his blanket wrapped around him for secure comfort. Poor kid, he was so scared!
