Day 119 - Family Dinner

Once a month, my family gets together (usually on the second Sunday) and we have a dinner, dessert and games/FHE lesson. It's really fun. I just love being together with family and spending time with them. This is usually the only time I get to see my brother and sister-in-law. And Clint and I try to see my parents at least twice a month (this including one of those times). So it's just nice to see them and be together.

We are missing 4 people from this picture. My sister, Jess, who is in Washington on her mission. Cody, who is in Alaska for the summer working, and my Sister Tiff and her husband Jeremy. They work graveyard shifts on the weekends, so they usually can never come because they have to sleep during the day on Sundays to prepare for their graveyard shift.

And guess what? There's two more people that are in this picture that you can't see. Yep, my little baby, and my brother and sister-in-laws baby! Ah! They told us today they were pregnant, and I was so excited! That will be the third grandchild on my side of the family, and Jonas will finally have cousins on my side! Yay! How fun! She's due in February.

We take turns each month having the dinner at each other's houses. It was my turn, so I made Honey Lime Chicken Enchiladas, Spanish Rice, and my parents brought a wonderfully tasty green salad. Then we had Peanut Butter Bars for Dessert. We played Phase Ten Dice, talked and had a wonderful evening. Love my family!
