We went to Brigham today and to sum up our day - we played in water. First, my mom found a "how to make a homemade slip and slide" off of pinterest, or somewhere, so she wanted to try it. It was really fun!
All you need is a tarp, stakes (to stake the tarp down), water and baby shampoo on the tarp, then it's slippery and ready to go. It was fun! I think Jonas mainly liked just sitting in the water and playing in the bubbles, but occasionally he liked to be "slipped" through the water.
I love my husband! He's like a little kid at heart and loves to play and do fun things and be goofy and fun-loving. One of the many favorite qualities I love about him!
Then later that night my dad had a union party for his work. He's a mailman. So we went to Ogden at their outdoor pool, and it was awesome! They have so many fun things for kids. A splash pad, an entire park type thing (that the kids can climb through and go down slides and spray people with, etc) with water splashing everywhere and a little kid area that only went 1 ft 6 inches deep and a big adult slide and a lazy river! And their diving zone was completely separate from all of that. It was so cool! We all had fun, and my parents had fun playing with their grandson. They also had free soda and ice cream for everyone. It was so fun. It's also a good thing we played in water all day because it was so hot!

your mom has always been so fun! I remember that about her from Activity days.
