Day 136 Corn Dog Freak Out

So when the neighbor boys come over, they always bring their own food. And usually I can copy a similar lunch so Jonas doesn't freak out when he is eating something different than them. Well today they had corndogs. And we didn't have hot dogs - which would have been similar enough, I think. So Jonas was freaking out because he wanted a corn dog and we didnt have any and we had to "buy some at the store", (he kept saying that to me). So it was a pain. I suggested chicken nuggets, ramen, PB&J. Nothing could console him.

Then Turner was so nice to offer his second corn dog to Jonas. And then he was fine. Sometimes it can be a pain trying to feed the neighbor boys without Jonas seeing what they're eating because then Jonas will want what they have and sometimes freak out. And I don't want to go buy corndogs just so Jonas can be happy when they have corndogs. I personally don't like buying all that processed junk. The only processed junk I will buy is hot dogs, ramen and occasionally chicken nuggets.

But it was really nice of Turner to offer. I told him I would make him a PB&J if he was still hungry. He loves PB&J's. So it was Jonas's first time eating corn dogs, and it was kind of cute, so I took pics. He liked it a lot. But eventually he wanted me to take the breaded part off so he could eat the hot dog on a stick.
