Day 139 - Getting an Opinion/Garden

The past few days Jonas has been pretty stubborn about getting dressed. Usually we can get him to put on a shirt, but he refuses to wear pants, or shorts! I'm not sure why. So today Clint stayed home with Jonas because he's had a cold (runny nose/cough) and we don't want to spread anything. Especially because I'm pretty sure that's how he got this cold - from nursery. He was fine and then Tuesday morning the cold hit.  And that's the only explanation for it.

Anyways, later today I tried to get him to wear his shorts so we could go visit his grandparents. Well, he did not want to wear the shorts I picked out for him, but he did want to wear his dinosaur pajama pants. He specifically went over to his dresser, opened it and said "dinosaur pants". So that's what he wore to the grandparents. Hey, atleast he's getting an opinion. Usually he doesn't care what he wears even though I try to give him choices.

And then this is our garden. The pumpkin plants have completely taken over. We basically dug up all our potatoes already because they were dying, and Clint said they were in the way of his pumpkins. They weren't doing well anyway. They were just small ones.

But if you can tell, the jack be little pumpkin plant has tangled it's way into our tomatoes and has made them fall! But the tomato plants are still growing. I have yet to see any tomatoes, but hopefully they'll start sprouting some soon. I want pico de gallo and guacamole with chips. That sounds so good!

 

And here is our "giant" pumpkin. It's about the size of the largest pumpkin you'll see at walmart or smiths. Pretty cool! And it's still growing. We have to water it twice a day now or else it will stop growing. They take so much water!
