Day 147 - An early Anniversary Date

Last Monday, Magna had this "Night Out Against Crime". It's really fun. They have free food (hot dogs and drinks), booths with lots of SWAG and cool info, and a drawing and prizes. They have SO many prizes. Basically if you enter the drawing, and you stay long enough, you're bound to get called and get a prize. My name got called and I got a bar-b-que utensil set. Pretty cool. Well, we were waiting around in hopes of Jonas or Clint's name to be called, and it was getting late (8:30) and they still had lots of prizes. I think they just wanted to get rid of them. A guy in our stake presidency walked over to us and gave us a prize - two Cherry Hill Splash Passes. Cool! That's almost a $40 prize.

Today, Clint and I used those passes for an early anniversary date (our anniversary is on Thursday). It was free, can't pass that up. We stayed the night at my parents and my mom watched Jonas so Clint and I could have some alone time to swim and talk. Oh how I love talking with him. It seems lately that whenever we try to talk, Jonas throws a fit or wants our attention, so we have a hard time getting through one sentence, let alone a story about our day. It was nice.

Well, during the night, I just didn't sleep well. I get really bad muscle cramps in my hips when I'm pregnant, which means I toss and turn all night from side to side, and I have to wake up a couple times and get out of bed and stretch to stop the pain. Ya, awful. So I had to do that during the night, and then I couldn't go back to sleep because I was awake. It took me 2 hours to go back to sleep. Needless to say I was tired. And this happens every night. Not necessarily that I'm up for 2 hours trying to go back to sleep, but just tossing and turning and peeing all the time. It's not fun. That is why I feel like I get more sleep when I have the baby, because at least I can get a solid 3-4 hours before I have to wake up to feed the baby. Can't wait for December to come!

My whole point of that explanation is that I was too tired to take a picture today. I didn't want to bring my camera to Cherry Hill. I would of had to set up my tripod, and I was too tired, and then I would have to rent a locker. So I didn't bring it. And by the time we got home (after driving back to Brigham, and then to Salt Lake), I was too tired to think of a picture to take, so I didn't. I figure it's ok. It's the first time I blatantly didn't take a picture. But I'm blaming it on the pregnancy. ha ha! So there you go. Clint and I had fun, I love him to death.
