Day 169 - A Beautiful Sun

I love that the sun is starting to set earlier. It creates beautiful light to take pictures in. Like this:
It's not the prettiest view, but its our street. More houses built, more clean sidewalk to walk in. It's nice. I love the sun barely shining over the mountains.

I wanted to get a picture of Jonas with this hazy type light, but I was struggling! This is the best I could get.

It's not perfect, but it's the best I had. I had to be quick because he kept moving, and when there's the hazy sun as backlighting, it's hard for me to get sharp focus. This picture, when zoomed in, is not exactly in focus all the way. I had a hard time with getting focus on him because he was moving so much. But it's close enough and I still really like it. I wish I had moved his little Tykes car out of the way though - kind of distracting. Oh well. It was fun to take a picture with photography and lighting in mind. I feel like lately, I've just been too tired to motivate myself to get creative or think of composition and interesting light. So it was kind of fun to actually try today.

Oh, and get a good look at his hair today, because I'm cutting it tonight! He's growing a little tail in the back, and it's shagging over his ears. I hate it when it does that.
