My mom came to my house today and we canned pears! I've never canned anything before. I decided that it's really boring. If I didn't have company, I would never want to do it again. Although it's kind of nice to have some bottled fruit that I know won't go bad. Plus, doing anything with my mom is fun. I love having her around. Too bad my dad couldn't join in on the fun :( Some other time, right?
