I love that Jonas is getting more imaginative and thinking for himself. At the same time, it can also be a pain - but that's a post for a different day. The past few days Jonas has come up with a snack that he loves and he came up with it all by himself. I would have never thought to feed this to him, but he loves it and asks for it almost every day now.
The snack is:
Can you tell? It's saltine crackers with Jelly! And he says Jelly like "delly" without really pronouncing the L's. If that makes sense. But for the longest time, I kept thinking he was saying "I want Daddy", so when he'd ask for Jelly, and I thought he said he wanted daddy. Then I would say I want daddy too, he should come home. But he kept saying he
wanted "jelly", so I finally realized he was saying Jelly and now
there's no misunderstanding. I get it. He just wants jelly on crackers. Oh the joy of parenthood and the talking phase.
Can i have some peanut butter with that too? :)
ReplyDeleteSo how did he think that one up? Jelly AND peanut butter on crackers is really good too! Has he asked for that yet?
