Day 216 - A Batman Murder Mystery

For the past 2  1/2 years or so, Clint has wanted to write his own murder mystery game - Basing it off of Batman's "Long Halloween" Comic book. And what did he finally do? He wrote it! It was awesome! We had the party today with my family and it was a hit! Everyone had fun, everyone mostly dressed up, and we had yummy food and it was very successful. I love that Clint loves to write. I think that's so cool!

Here are the "bad guys" that showed up to our party:

Poison Ivy (my mom) - her kiss can take control over anyone's mind. Beware of the kiss! I love that my mom loves to dress up and get all into her character. She was awesome!

Harley Quinn (my brother's friend) & The Joker (my brother Cody) - Harley Quinn was a normal person, trying to help the Joker with his craziness, when the Joker turned her crazy! Ha ha - Two crazies at the party.

Two Face (My dad) - we all know his story, however in the movies they don't display him as a married man, but in the comic he is married to Guilda Dent. I was Guilda Dent, just a normal mom/wife. Which was perfect, so I was dressed up as myself - A mom and wife. Ha ha! I really don't like dressing up. Sorry, didn't get a pic of me. Oops.

We had the coin and everything for my dad to flip. He was great!

Lieutenant Gordon (Clint) - Since he wrote the murder mystery, he knew everything, including the murder so he was basically  just the officiator to help things move along and keep track of points and move the rounds along, etc.

The Riddler (Kelvin, a family friend) - he didn't want to dress up too much, but he got a green tie, so that's good enough for us! I told him not to worry because I didn't dress up either. 

The Viti Mobsters - Carla Viti (Anna's Sister) on the left and Alberta Viti (my sister-in-law Anna) on the right.  My brother had to fly out to Atlanta for a training today, so he couldn't make it. Luckily Anna's sister was very willing to come. They were great mobsters!

Cat Woman (my sister Tiffany) and Scarecrow (Jeremy, tiff's husband) - I think we know info about these two as well. Jeremy loved the party. He's so funny and played his character well. He even had "gas" (a can of air) that he sprayed on people.

And the coolest part, I thought, about the party was that we used smartphones, ipads and an ipod touch to go through the rounds and read the clues and information. When Clint wrote it, he wrote it all online, so we had to use scanners to scan in QR codes to read the information, if that makes sense. It was cool! Like this:

The party was awesome and very fun. We brought out a different food with each round, and we found out who the murderer was - it was me! Guilda Dent! Ha ha!  A normal wife/mother committed the murder. Good times!
