They also had a petting zoo there. Jonas loved it! So there's only one picture of him (that I'm posting, I took more, but I already have a lot of pictures to share) at Gardener's Village. The petting zoo was the highlight of his/our day anyway. By the time we were done with the petting zoo, Jonas was really tired and either wanted to be held or sit in the stroller.
The first animal he saw was a little puppy. He spent the first 5-10 minutes petting the puppy and didn't want to go anywhere else. I was like "great, we paid for him to pet a dog". Ha ha! Don't worry, it got better.
He was a little scared of the pony. He only touched it once. Good thing we didn't pay for a pony ride.
The cow was a little scary. Can you tell by his body language that he's intimidated by it? I don't blame him, it was a stinky gross cow. I could NEVER own a farm or even help out on a farm. I would die of grossness.
He liked feeding the llama, as long as Clint's hand was underneath his.
This was the best part! Jonas LOVED the chickens. These pictures don't even do justice with how excited he was about the chickens. He was talking up a storm saying "I want that one. Catch that one, daddy", etc. He spent 15-20 minutes chasing and petting the chickens. It was so cute to watch! Clint had chickens growing up, so he knows how to catch them before they run away, so everyone was asking him (other kids and adults included) to get chickens for them to pet.
Oh, I guess this picture is not with a witch - We did get some with witches but they had Clint in them. I figure if there's a picture of me, I should post it since I don't post many pictures with me in it.
It was a fun filled day. Much needed! I love doing fun things for and with Jonas.
