Today I dyed some cheesecloth!
Now, you might be thinking, what for? To take pictures of Alexis! It will be a cute prop to wrap around her. And then with the flowers/bows in her hair? I can't wait! My nap wasn't very long today because I was thinking about the posing and the different things I was going to do to get pictures of her. I'm excited to have her so I can take pictures of her! Ha. I think I'm so excited to take pictures of her because I know I will have full control over posing, background, lighting, etc. Whereas with Jonas, I don't have much control. He will not let me pose him, so I'm excited to try new things. Plus, it's not every day you get to try out some newborn photography. I just hope that I'm not too sore to take pictures. I'll be fine. I think I'll just tough through it because I'm so excited about it.
Also, I'm super excited about Christmas. We set up our tree, and Jonas loved it! He loved helping give the branches to Clint, and putting on the ornaments. We tried to spread them out evenly, but there is more ornaments on the bottom of the tree clumped together. :) So cute! And this morning he walked out of bed talking about how we have a pretty Christmas tree and Santa's going to bring presents and put them under the tree. And how he's going to get a gun for Christmas - a nerf gun. Kids make everything more exciting. So there you go, our homemade Christmas tree. Clint and I have always wanted a tree that has matching beautiful ornaments, etc., but with a kid, I like the homemade ornaments and the colored lights because Jonas likes them. It makes it more special for him. So one day I'll get a tree like that, when I'm a lot older. For now, I really like this one.

Kids definitely make Christmas fun! And we've always had a miss-matched Christmas Tree...but there's lots of memories in the ornaments!
