Day 271 - More Snow

We had to go outside again. I wasn't going to do another snow picture, but as Jonas was walking through it, he came to a part of the snow that had ice under some powder so he thought it would be fun to walk on top. Well, he fell down and landed on his butt and his expression was just cute! I had to get a picture of it. I think he liked sitting in the snow, because he kept "falling" on his bum after that experience. So cute!

And secondly, I don't know where I got the energy, but I made pot pies today. Enough for 3! But I just had to take a picture for my mom to see. I was very proud of how these pies looked. Normally there is filling seeping out, and therefore gets crusty when it gets cooked. Or the filling is too thin so it seeps through the middle, but this time I made the filling thicker, and my crust turned out nice and I had enough to make sure the filling didn't seep out the edges. This was the best looking pot pie I've ever made! It's not cooked, by the way. But I had to show my mom. It's almost as beautiful as hers. I think it helped watching her make one so I could mimic it better. Thanks mom!
