This entire pregnancy my feet were never swollen - until I went in for my c-section and got tons of IV fluid put in me. This is my foot - extremely swollen. Ya, not cool! It makes it really hard to walk around because my feet are so swollen. I have to wear these compression hose to keep the swelling at bay. Not fun. The doctor said it could take up to 2 weeks for them not to be swollen anymore. I can't wait till I get my feet/ankles back. I feel like I could recover quicker if I could walk on my feet more. But on a more lighter note, I'm going to try to take Alexis's newborn pictures tomorrow. I'm excited. I think I'm feeling up to it.
If it makes you feel any better, Grandma Maw's feet and ankles look like that all the time!! And she doesn't even seem to notice! Ugh! :(
