Day 286 - Newborn Faces

One thing I love about newborns, is when they are awake, they make the funniest faces! At least my kids do. Jonas made these same faces and Alexis did today for the whole hour or so that she was awake. It's so funny! I love interacting with them and I love watching her cute little eyes look at me, as long as I'm close enough. I just love her!

Her cute little face. From this angle she looks like she has thinning hair on top. Which, I guess, it is thin because it's baby hair.

She always likes to purse her lips tight into a circle. She's not rooting, and she doesn't want a binky, she probably just likes the feel of it or something.

I don't know if it's a newborn thing, but Alexis and Jonas always went cross-eyed. So funny to watch!

By the way, remember how I didn't buy any newborn clothes because I thought she was going to be big? Ya, now all that fits her is her pj's, and even those drown her. All those cute outfits with pants won't even fit - yet. The pants would fall off her in a heartbeat! And newborn diapers are big on her because she has no butt. Oh well, she'll grow into the clothes and diapers soon enough.
