Some days you just need to make yourself a big batch of Rice Crispie Treats and eat them all. J/k. I didn't eat them all, but they are possibly my favorite snack.
Today was just one of those days. Alexis was fussy and crying from the moment she woke up (around 8:30ish) until 1:00 where she finally crashed and was out for 5 hours. And then because she was crying so much, I couldn't do much with Jonas, so he got mad, reverted back to his babyhood and wanted me to feed him and hold his drink while he drank, and he wouldn't talk normal, and when I didn't do that stuff he yelled extremely loud. I think he even hit me today at one point. Ya, it was just one of those days. And then Alexis cried from 7ish until midnight. Why? She has awful gas and rumblings in her tummy. I can tell she is in pain. I called my mom, we think she is colicky. Not a good day. Calling the doctor because she is fussy and cries every night for 2-2 1/2 hours. It's been like this for over 2 weeks. Every night and mostly when she is awake. It's tiring.
I'm sorry. Nixon is gassy.. he's getting MUCH better. At my 2 weeks appt, I asked our ped, and he said cut milk out. I did but not faithfully. I tried gas drops - didnt work. I took him in at 6 weeks to see if maybe he had reflux because he would scream, pass gas then be done.. but then 30 min do it again. I decided to religiously cut milk out and my dr told me to try this probiotic.Lactobacillus reuteri. the only place that may sell it is walgreens. I got mine on Amazon. The one I got is Gerber Soothe Colic Drops. For the past week, it has been 100 times better dont know if it is the drops or the milk. (ps the drops are expensive 25 dollars for a one month supply) If it's colic they usually get it around 3 weeks.. wouldn't that be when she got it? Nixon isnt colicky--but he is sick thanks to the family member who got Carter sick. And today has been a nightmare becaue he is congested so he doesn't want to eat, but then he is hungry, then he coughs and wakes himself up. ugh.
