Can I just tell you it might be a miracle? Tonight she was awake, like normal, but she was happy! She laid down and kicked her feet around for at least 10-15 minutes without crying! I was sitting there waiting for her to start getting fussy, but she never did! Look:
This is her just having a dandy time laying down. You know how newborns always start breathing rapidly through their nose? Well, every time she does that I know she's going to cry or get fussy, but when she did it tonight, she just kicked her legs or flailed her arms and was just fine. I seriously was paranoid the whole time that she was going to cry. She did get slightly fussy, but we picked her up, and she fell asleep pretty quickly. And then when she went to sleep by 9:15, I was paranoid that she was going to wake up and start crying again, like she did the night before. But she didn't!
I don't know if it's what I didn't eat this day, or if it was the tummy drops (most likely) but it just might be a miracle to have a happy baby back. We'll see if these gas drops keep helping. I'm not getting my hopes up yet.
By the way, don't you love her chubby face? She's getting so big! And last night she slept 5 hours before waking up to eat. Probably because she's so exhausted from crying all the time.

| Oh, and look at this hair! It's getting longer. She's kind of getting a mullet in the back, too. |

Oh I hope, I hope!! So glad you got to have a good day! That picture of Alexis is adorable! I'll cross my fingers too!
