I love that Alexis likes to lay all sprawled out when she sleeps. Jonas was the same way! I think it's cute. Although, it means I can't swaddle her because she will eventually try to get her arms out, and that will wake her up. And that's just one more thing that wakes her up. I can't have the blankets too tight around her.
But today she just wanted to be where I was. She wouldn't even sleep in her swing. (I know, that's supposedly a bad habit to form, but this is my sanity, people. I need her to sleep sometime during the day! I don't let her sleep in it at night) So I would carry her around wherever I was, hold her, or lay her down and she would sleep wherever I was. And Jonas was ok with that for the most part.
Clint and I decided she is a huge mommy's girl. Within 5-10 minutes of me handing her over to Clint, she will get fussy and cry. And when I take her, she will be happy and good for me. What a stinker. But that's ok. Jonas is a daddy's boy, so I need one, too. The other day Jonas and I went to run an errand, and Clint got some one on one time with Alexis - which doesn't happen much since Jonas demands all his attention the moment he walks through the door from work. She was good, she had just eaten and was happy. But, she cried the entire time I was gone. And when I got home, she was so upset! But within 10 minutes of me getting home, she quieted down and fell asleep. Oh dear, what a high maintenance girl.
Don't worry, she'll grow out of it. At least you did! ;)
