Day 340 - Sleeping Children

I don't know what it is with Jonas the past few days. He's been falling asleep in other places than his bed. But that's ok. It gives me an opportunity to photograph his cute sleeping self. And apparently I'm digging the black and white photos lately.

Notice how he fell asleep while playing on my kindle? The funny thing is that I was right next to him on the ipad, and I didn't even know he fell asleep. We were having "quiet time" so I could gain some sanity since he didn't sleep in his room.

This is "gentle giraffe" - he's a white noise maker. We think Alexis likes noise. She'll sleep in the swing with Jonas up in her grill making tons of noise, etc. But once she goes in her crib, she'll wake up within 10 minutes. Maybe because it's quieter there. Maybe it's because she's flat on her back and I think she might have reflux occasionally. Who knows - I"ll ask the doctor about it. But it's pretty cool. It plays 4 "tunes" and they are very soothing. Some of them are safari-esc and there's a timer, so after 25 or 45 minutes it will stop. I think she likes it. She's been staying in her crib sleeping lately - so that's good. But I've also stopped giving her gas drops. I feel like they were causing her to have reflux. Every time after I would give them (this was always 10 minutes or so after, not right after), she would kind of gag and make noises like there was something in her throat. She wouldn't spit up, just gag. Anyways, she hasn't been doing it since I stopped giving her the drops.
