Day 350 - Trying to make him smile

I read this great post - found it on pinterest - on how to get kids to smile, etc. So naturally I wanted to try it out. Sometimes it's hard for me to get Jonas to smile. Clint can do it every time, but apparently I'm not funny. Plus, ever since we moved out the computer, there is this blank wall in Alexis's room with nothing there, so it's great for pictures! And when the light comes in that room, it's beautiful. Ha ha!

This is the closest I could get to him smiling for me:

At least he let me tell him where to stand and I posed him with his hands in his pockets.
I think because I'm his mom, he knows what I'm up to and if he's not in the mood for a picture, nothing can make him smile. Oh well! Let's just hope that if I ever photograph someone else's kid, that maybe I can get them to give me a genuine smile.

But then we went into the front room so he could jump on this old crib mattress we have. I was excited to try to get a picture with movement, because that's a challenge for me, but he wouldn't do it because I had the camera out. Stubborn boy! But he started being goofy and I got his picture. I think he's so cute! He posed himself like this. I wish I would have moved his hat, but oh well. I have to work quick with this one.

And of course, I have to post a pic of Alexis. Her head looks very rectangular in this picture. Sometimes her face looks very round, and other times it looks rectangular. Either way, it looks big - but in a cute way!
Her hair in front is finally starting to grow in so she won't have old man hairline any more. :)

And by the way, I only have 15 more days until my project 365 is over! Crazy! This year has gone by pretty fast.
