Either way, I have been having fun making flowers and headbands. I have a pinterest board for girly stuff (flowers, headbands, skirts, leggings, etc.) that I started forever ago in hopes that one day I would have a girl. I've tapped into that now and I'm having so much fun making headbands and flowers for her and trying the things on pinterest.
Here's what I've made so far. (P.S. I didn't buy anything, I had all this stuff on hand in my craft boxes which makes this even better.)

| I know, this is blue, but I made it out of Clint's old shirts he was going to throw away. It turned out way cute. And it's the perfect material so it won't fray. |
I just need to buy clips for these. I love the big red one. I'm going to be making more of those.
Can you tell by this point Alexis was pretty bugged at me taking on and off the headbands. She was sick of it.
And the last one. I think I'm addicted to making things for her. I have my sewing machine out and all my material and craft stuff and the glue gun, and it's staying out for a few days. It's kind of a mess, but oh well. It's fun. I'm going to try making leggings for her. Her legs are so chunky that the 6-9 month leggings are getting a little snug width wise, but they are perfect for the length. Actually, they are slightly longish. So we'll see how that goes.
Plus, she is getting to the grabbing phase where she grabs at everything, and she grabs at her headbands. I want her to be used to wearing headbands, so she will be wearing one every day from now on so she's used to it. I want her to always wear them. I love them! Plus, the headbands I made don't leave an imprint on her head, so I feel like I can have her wear them all the time.

So, so, cute!! Good job Stephanie!! Alexis is such a doll! I just love her facial expressions!
