Getting Better

I am loving the warmer weather! I love the blossoms popping out on my trees! I love spring. I feel like it's finally here because the past few weeks have been rainy/snowy/cold. So we went outside last night. Clint worked in the garden, I took pictures, Jonas played outside and Alexis slept inside for a bit and then when she woke up I brought her outside! Her first time being outside for longer than 5 minutes, and she actually enjoyed it.

But, I took a picture of the blossoms on our trees, and I remember that I had taken a picture of the blossoms last year when I had just received my camera so I wanted to compare. Here is the last year version, and the this year version.

Not only has my editing changed and become better, but I feel like my picture is more artfully composed and it just looks better. The top one is good, but this one is so much better! I think it's cool how taking a picture a day for a year can change my photography drastically. I love this picture! I want to print it off and frame it for my bedroom. It's beautiful - at least I think so. :)

And here is last year's version and this year's version of the buds before they blossomed. Again, better composed and I like the editing better.

By the way, just curious, do you like the black and white or color better of this picture? It's just slightly different than the top one. I did the starburst affect again. I love the starbust affect. It looks so cool. I think I like it better than the top one, actually. Anyways, let me know what you think.
