Squishy

Alexis is super chunky - we all know that. So whenever I give her a bath and I undress her, I always stand her up (because she loves to stand up now). I do this because her bum is super chunky and she flexes her bum when she stands and it gets all "cottage cheesy". Ha ha! It's so funny!

The other day, when I did this, Jonas was brushing his teeth and when I stood her up he said "Look. She has a squishy bum". Bwa ha ha ha! I think that is so funny! So I took a picture of it tonight when I undressed her for her bath. And I'm keeping it for my personal records, but I just think that is so funny, I had to share.

But since I'm doing pictures, I'll post another picture I took of her the other day. She's been sick the past few days. Congested and then she got pink eye. Poor girl, not even 4 months and she had her first cold. She actually didn't do too bad at night with it. She just had a hard time getting to sleep because of it, and she didn't sleep well during the day because of it. But she's getting better now.

Can you tell which eye has pink eye? This was taken before she got all the gunk in it. This was when it was starting to get glassy and wet. It's the eye on the right, if you're not sure. Poor sick girl. She just wanted to be held that day. Also, did you know that there are two types of pink eye? A virus kind and a bacteria kind. She had the virus kind, so it would have gone away eventually, but the drops he prescribed were like a neosporin for the eye (as he described it). Who knew?
