We went to the drive-in and watched Toy Story 3 (great movie) and Prince of Persia (not so great of a movie - nothing special about it). That was fun, and that also started off our stay up late and sleep in weekend. We are the type of people, usually, that can't stay up later than midnight, we get too tired. However, the drive-in movie helped us to stay up later than midnight.
We also went to a friends house, Julie and Adam's, and we had grilled pizza (that's right, pizza on a grill outside) and it was sooooo good! We also went to Pleasant Grove fireworks. I don't know about you, but these fireworks were awesome! Why, you may ask? Well, these were the only fireworks that got the crown involved. Ha ha! And I mean the crowd at the front was getting up and running because there were fireworks shooting out into the crowd! It was sooo funny! And not just one firework, it was the kind of firework that spit out flashes of white light every second. It was great!
We also went to the zoo. I haven't been to the zoo for a really long time! So we went, took pictures walked around, saw all there was to see and headed home. It took about 3 hours to do all that. I guess without kids, you can do a lot more and move a lot faster.
We saw the new baby elephant, Zuri. It (I don't know if its a boy or girl) was cute! It was playing in a mud pile, so we watched it for a while. The mother was just walking around minding her own business.
We saw the giraffes up close and personal! A giraffe came and it's head was 2 feet out of reach of hand. It's head was huge!
For all of those who don't know me, I LOVE cats! So seeing the tigers was awesome for me. They were just chilling together and relaxing. I love it when they lay on their backs!
The gorillas were one of my favorites! So of course, we had to see if we measured the same as the adult male and female. Clint's arms are just a little short, but he's about the same height.
I'm taller than the female adult gorilla. You can't tell, but i'm standing right in front of it, covering it up.
