4th of July

For the fourth, we had a bar-b-que at our house - due to bad weather. But after it cleared up, we went to Pleasant Green Park and ate snacks, read, played a game, relaxed, slept a little, and played with Jonas. You see, we started this tradition when we first got married. At the time, we went to Sugarhouse Park and had a bar-b-que and we read and relaxed until the fireworks that night. Because we had Jonas, I didn't want to stay for the fireworks because I was worried he would get scared and start crying. And when he gets scared and cries, he cries hard and long! So we try to prevent that at all costs. Plus, Jonas has been sleeping so good lately (going to bed between 8 & 9 and sleeping for 10 - 11 hours) that we didn't want to ruin his sleeping patterns. It's so nice when he gets plenty of sleep! So there you have it! A fun, relaxing fourth of July!
