First off, I too this yesterday. Jonas is so cute! He picked up my camera and said "Camera, picture". So this is the picture I took. Then we both looked at it and he thought it was funny that the couch was in the picture and the couch was also in front of us. And his shirt that he was wearing was in the picture, but also on his body. He's so smart! I love these moments where he picks up on things and soaks it all in and starts to understand and learn.
So, Halloween night. That was fun. Jonas was all ready to go. Put his Pooh Bear costume on, found a bag, and he was ready to be outside. Luckily it was such a warm night.
Our neighbors have a little girl that is 5 months younger than Jonas and she was dressing up as Eeyore, so we HAD to get a picture. When I went over there to get this picture, I took a step down off their porch, and my foot stepped down onto the grass and I fell. Their grass had sunken where I stepped down, so my foot was on unsteady ground, and my ankle gave out and I fell. But I still got the cute picture, right?
My ankle HURT so bad! But I managed to get up, and walk to a few houses around our subdivision, but then it started hurting really bad, and I couldn't walk on it anymore. So we came home, iced it and took so Ibuprofen. Then next day, I couldn't walk on my foot. My ankle was extremely swollen, and I had to use crutches to get around. Then I went to the doctor on Friday, and he said it was a sprang. I am starting to be able to walk on it again, but I still don't have a full range of motion, so hopefully it will get better soon. What a great thing to happen on Jonas's first trick-or-treating adventure. It's a good thing he didn't care about going to tons of houses to get candy. Ten houses was just right for him.
Jonas was so excited when we dumped out all the candy. He kept saying candy over and over, and then he'd say "open". Love this kid! You can't tell in the picture, but he was sitting as close to clint as possible. He knew something was wrong, because I had been crying from the pain, and I wasn't moving off the couch, so he was very clingy that night. It's interesting how kids know when something is wrong. But he still had fun, and loved getting his candy.
I hope you heal quickly!
