To make Jonas's tantrums more tolerable, I have decided to take pictures of them. Because when you really think about what he is doing, it's kind of funny - the way he expresses his "anger"? I don't really know if anger is the best word, but I can't think of a better one. Then I'm going to do a scrapbook (or two) on his "terrible two" tantrums. I'm going to scrapbook all the pictures I take. That way, it will make his tantrums more of a fun tolerable thing for me. Not that I look forward to them or anything, but he throws tantrums over the most ridiculous things!
For example today, he threw a tantrum because he wanted to hold my lens cap and I told him no. No child is allowed to touch my camera, even adult "children". It's expensive!
So this is the result: Enjoy!

I think it's kind of funny that he throws his face down in the carpet, as if his life is going to end because he can't hold my lens cap. |

I even tried to distract him with something else, but it didn't work, so he just had to cry it out. Luckily it only lasted a couple minutes. Then he just wanted me to hug him. I'd hug him any day! |

ReplyDeleteGood for you! One day they will be so funny to you when you look back; I took pictures of all the times I caught Nathan getting into mischief and now I look back and smile and love him that much more!
ReplyDeleteLOL! When my little niece would have a tantrum my sister would laugh like a crazy and tell her Louder, Louder! More kicking More screaming! You're so silly, if you are going to do it, Do it right! You'd better go back to your room and practice some more. And the kid would GO!
ReplyDeleteThen she'd get busy practising and get distracted by aa toy and quit or crawl in bed with her snuggy.
