Day 108 - Daddy's Helper

Jonas loves to help Clint with the garden. So when two of our potato plants died, Jonas was all about helping dig them up.

I have no idea why just the two of them died, the others are going strong. I guess it was just their time to go. :)



But I LOVED watching Jonas help. It was so cute. I feel like the pictures don't capture the cuteness. I should have had my video camera going or something because Jonas was so excited and his mannerisms were adorable. First he helped "dig" some dirt up, but then he would fling it everywhere, so his next job was to take the potato from Clint and..........

Stick it in the grass. While he was doing this he was saying "look mommy, da tatoes" - "I put dem right here" "I put dem on da grass". It was so cute! The pictures just don't do it justice. He was so excited and happy to help. You could tell he just loved digging them up. I love this kid so so so much!

As you can kind of tell, the potatoes weren't huge or anything, but still edible. We got a couple handfuls of little potatoes from those two plants. Hopefully the other plants will produce better results.
