Day 118 - My New Book

This is Clint's manuscript - all printed out! He's done with his second draft of his book. And I'm the first one to read it. I really like it so far. Yes, there are things that need to change and more details and such, but that's my job - to read it and tell him what's wrong with the book. That was his only criteria for me was to answer what's wrong. So I'm reading it, and making comments/editing it for him, and then he's going to make the changes, add more stuff to it, make it better, then give it to a few more people to do the same thing, and then edit edit edit, and make more changes and more editing, and then hopefully it will be done before the end of the year. Wow, he has a lot of work ahead of him, but I'm excited. This is a lot better than his last book. I can tell his writing has gotten better. It's fun, I really enjoy helping him and talking to him about it. He wants to send it to an actual agent this time instead of trying to self -publish, so we'll see what happens. The worst is they'll say no. Not a big deal!
