Day 148 - Playing around with Wide Open Aperture

When your aperture is a small number (like 2.8 or lower), they call it shooting wide open. Backwards, right? It took me a while to get that. But I didn't feel like taking a picture of Jonas today - nothing eventful happened with him. So I decided to play around with my aperture being really wide (or a small number). Shooting wide open means that you have more blur in your picture and it focuses on one spot in particular. I've learned that I don't like shooting wide open when I take pictures of Jonas because he moves so much it's hard to get that focus exactly on his eyes. So I took pictures of still objects when I shot wide open today. Enjoy them!

My Aperture was 1.8 (I usually do 3.2 or 3.5 when I take pics of Jonas). Can you tell where my focus is in the pics? It was fun to do something different.
