Day 290 - Jenga!

One of the gifts was a family game to play for the "12 days before Christmas". It was basically "Jenga", but called Wacky Stacky. It was a play off of Jenga and on the blocks you had to do things and there was blindfold involved. But we played it as normal Jenga, because, you know, a 2 1/2 year old can only do so much. But he loved it! It was so cute watching him play. We played it over and over for an hour. And while we were playing he kept saying "I love playing this game". So cute!

Towards the end or each game, he would purposely pull out a block quickly to watch it fall. He thought that was funny. Atleast he waited till there were no more easy blocks to get out.

And this is just a funny story, so there's a pic to go with it above. I had to go to the doctor, so I thought I should feed Alexis before we go. I do not nurse in public. I'm not like that. Anyways, it was slightly early for her to eat next so I didn't know if she would eat or not - she didn't. Oh well. Hopefully the doctor won't be long. Then I put her in the car seat. She hated that. She squirmed and was really distraught while I struggled to get her in. Then when she was all buckled, she pooped. Oh man! So I took her out, changed her diaper and then she was awake and decided she was hungry. So I fed her. Then I struggled to get her back in the car seat. Again, she didn't like that. When she was all buckled in, she pooped again! I took her out and right as I was about to put a clean diaper on her, she peed everywhere! Ah! Cleaned that up, and finally I got her in the car seat (she did not struggle as much the third time) and then she was fine. Oh man! The joys of newborns. I forget about stuff like that. But it was pretty funny.

  3. Aww! That makes me happy Jonas enjoyed the game so much!! Could he really pull out the blocks without making the stack fall? And the Alexis escapade made me laugh!! Babies just force us to develop the habit of being ahead of schedule for instances such as that!!
