My husband and I played a very fun game the other day. It's called "Rampage". Now I'm not huge into games because it's a pain to play games with kids around, and when they are in bed all I want to do is sit in silence and enjoy doing nothing.
However, after playing this game, I wanted to play it the next day and the next, etc. It is so fun! And I also may, or may not, have been a little competitive and punched my husband a few times. Oops! (Not in the face, obviously, but a couple times in the gut and maybe his arm, too. Not too hard, just lightly :) ) And the best part about this game is it doesn't require much thinking. Meaning it's not a logic or strategic type of game. There are strategies to help win, but it's nothing my fried brain can't handle.
What you do, is you break buildings and eat "meople" (aka the little people on the board). And that's it. Of course, there are different ways to do it, and you have a super power and a secret weapon to use during the game to help accomplish those things.
You can break the buildings by blowing on them - you can also blow down other dinosaurs/dragons for added fun and more points- you can demolish the buildings or you can throw cars at meople or dragons or buildings.
Of course there are certain things to do to get points and whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins.
It's a high quality game made out of durable materials and it's so fun! I want to buy it. We were just using a demo to test it out. Writing about it now makes me want to play it again. If you want to buy it, buy it here. It's not a game you can find at Walmart. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Just in case you don't know...I LOVE GAMES! Will Clint let you bring Rampage this weekend? It would be fun to play it with you and Cody before he leaves for Texas!
ReplyDeleteYes, I was going to bring that game and seven wonders if we have time to play. It's so fun!
DeleteSounds great, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteYour line "I just want to sit in silence" is me to a T. I don't want to be bothered by anyone. No one call me, no one ask me to do anything.. I just want peace and quiet when the children are in bed!
