Week of 7/6-7/12

I have really been enjoying not doing my blog as much. I miss sharing the photos the day I take them, but I tell myself that people don't need to see them that day. I can always share them later.

And that's what I'm doing now. Last week's photos:

One day, when the neighbor boys came over, they were wearing red shirts. So I put Jonas in a red shirt and I just thought they were all so cute playing together - all matchy matchy.

They played with rocks together, and "built" (as good as you can build with rocks) a house and whatever else.

We had a water balloon fight. They loved that!

And this is the balance bike that I want to get Jonas for being potty trained. This is the neighbor's bike. He's so nice to share with Jonas. Jonas loves this bike and he talks about how he wants one and that he has to go potty in the toilet to get one. But he still doesn't do it!

This is Jonas making faces and weird sounds at Alexis. She thinks it's funny for a bit, but then I think she gets annoyed and doesn't like it. This is one way he pesters her.

Alexis actually sat in the pool and splashed for a bit. She was doing good and loving it, until she fell backwards and got all wet, then she wanted out.

Jonas wouldn't let me take a pic of them both. He turned around when I was going to take it. Such a stinker! I want to document more of them two together, but he makes it hard to do that. He hides or turns away. Oh well! At least I have documentation that they were swimming together.

Also, I exercised 3 times last week! Pretty good. I said everyday, but then I realized that exercising would be taking up all my time, just like blogging and editing my photos was. I feel like too much of one thing isn't good, especially when you don't have much time to do it all. Being well rounded with my free time means doing a little bit of everything. I think 3-4 times a week is just fine for exercising. Besides, it's the food that really makes losing weight happen more so than the exercising. Exercising helps, but if you don't change the eating, nothing will happen. I also played games with Clint and relaxed with him, which is just as important.

  1. I love how rocks can suddenly become toys! Thanks for sharing your week!
