Around Here

I've been taking pictures the past month, but I haven't shared them yet and I just want to. So be prepared for lots of pictures.

I tried showing here that she could get into the DVD's if she moved towards them. She likes the dvd's, but it didn't motivate her to scoot or move or crawl. Stubborn kid. :) And yes, I'm teaching her bad habits so she will have a desire to move. Ha ha!

We had so much rain in August (weird), but Jonas loved playing outside with the umbrella.

My living room pretty much looks like a disaster everyday. Alexis loves to play with her toys and the basket they go in. I don't even bother cleaning them up anymore because she'll just get them out anyway. It's cute, though. It doesn't bother me anymore - the toys everywhere. So instead I cleaned up the clutter of papers and stacks of stuff around the house (the stuff I could control) and I feel much better.

Oh you know, he just likes to type on the computer.

We went to Peach days. I took Jonas on the rides and he loved them! It was his first time on rides. I loved watching him have fun. Alexis, however, hated Peach Days. She basically whined/cried the whole time we were there, but I didn't want to leave her with Clint because he needed his rest and he couldn't lift her anyway (from the surgery). However, being at Peach Days made her realize that she liked being at my parents house a lot more. So she was really happy at my parents house, when normally she gets kinda whiney and clingy to me. 

Thanks to my sister who took some of these so I could go on the rides with Jonas. She also stayed with Alexis so we could.

Jonas was too nervous to go on the slide by himself, so I went with him the first time. He loved it! Then he went 3 more times by himself. That was definitely his favorite ride.

Whenever Jonas would go down himself, he would just lie down while he slid down the slide. It was so funny!
