My sister-in-law has been wanting family pictures for a while now. This was our third time trying to do it. The first time she totally forgot and that particular day didn't work for her anymore. The second time Clint had emergency surgery so I couldn't take them the following day, so we finally did it last Saturday. And the weather was horrible! It had rained so everything was wet, which took out a few poses I wanted to try, and their little boy had broke out into hives prior to picture taking. But, we did it anyway. And we got some good ones. I just edited the hives that were on his face out.
It only lasted about 20-30 minutes and then the kids were done. When I would try to take more of their little girl she would turn around and run away from me. Funny. :) I guess that's why people always say get pictures of the family together first, because if the end of the photo shoot goes south, at least you got the family together. And I got more than that.
So I'm happy with it. We just went to a park nearby so there wasn't a ton of variation as far as scenery goes, but that doesn't matter. I'm happy with what we got.
Can I just tell you how hard it is to get two children to smile at the same time? Really hard. And this little boy would not smile for me at all! He just stared at me like I was crazy.
She actually posed for me! And she loved it. Jonas never poses for me, so it was fun to pose a little girl. :)
She did not want to touch her little brother. I was going to have her back against the other side of the tree, but she would not have it. Ha ha! I've learned with kids, you just gotta go with it. Keep them happy to get a good pic.
I couldn't get him to smile, but his mom could.
This is Clint's brother. Can you see the resemblance?
Steph, you're still amazing with the camera! Good job as always! :)
